Medical exemption for the Iranian residing overseas
Processing the medical exemption application:
Those subject to military service suffering from diseases whose status requires commenting by the medical council shall act as per the following:
1. Referring to the mission of the Islamic Republic of Iran in their place of residence and presenting application together with medical documents 2. In case the mission is executive of medical examinations, then it shall introduce the person subject to military service to the examining physician or hospital trusted so that after examining and commenting, the case may be sent through the ministry of foreign affairs to the conscription organization. 3. In case the referred mission is not the executive of medical examinations, it will sent the documents to a mission executive thereof while after examining the documents and notifying the same, the person subject to military service shall attend before the examinations executive agency to be examined by the trusted physician and their opinion shall be sent by the ministry of foreign affairs to conscription organization to be processed.
Note 1: the opinion of the medical council shall be notified to the ministry of foreign affairs to be noticed to those subject to military service in due manner. For the time being, the consulates of Islamic Republic of Iran in Munich (GER), , Dubai (UAE) and Beijing (China) are executive of medical examinations of those subject to military service and their relatives.
Note 2: referring to the consulate of Islamic Republic of Iran in Munich (GER), and Dubai (UAE) shall be effective as of 22/Sep/2012 for the reference of those subject to military service residing in Europe and UAE, respectively, while the same shall be applicable as of 22/Oct/2012 for other countries, including Asian countries.
Note 3: the Iranians subject to military service residing in China may refer to the mission of Islamic Republic of Iran in Beijing as of 21/Apr/2013, while those subject to military service residing in East, Southeast Asia and Australia including North Korea, South Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Philippines, Mongolia, Australia, New Zealand and other neighboring countries may refer to the mission of Islamic Republic of Iran in Beijing as of 22/May/2013.
